MDCAT ENTRY TEST:

 MDCAT stands for Medical College Entrance Test. This test is very important if you want to enroll in a medical or dental institute. In short, this test is a medical institute ticket. MDCAT is an objective type of test. Each question is an MCQS type question. This test is taken by UHS to secure admission in medical and dental institutes of Pakistan. Another thing to keep in mind is that this test score is only valid for one session. If for any reason you still cannot get admission in the medical institute after passing the MDCAT, you will have to pass this test again for the next session.

Eligibility Crisis for MDCAT 2020:

At least 60% in FSC Pre-Medical or equivalent.

If you are waiting for your results then you can apply for the test by presenting the Certificate of Hope.

Age limit:

There is no age limit for this test.

MDCAT is very organized and necessary to secure admission in medical or dental colleges. Although MDCAT is 50% water, it's not the only thing you need to worry about. FSC numbers are also very important.

Every MCQ except English subject is taken from FSc syllabus. So there is nothing to worry about. If you have a clear idea of   the subjects mentioned above, you can pass the exam. But hard work is the key to success here.

MCQS distribution by topics:

Biology: 88 mcq

Chemistry: 58

Physics: 44

English: 30

Total number of MCQs = 220

Total number = 1100

MDCAT marking pattern:

5 marks are given for each correct answer

1 mark deducted for each incorrect answer (negative mark)

There are no negative signs for leaving a question

Allowed time:

Total time allowed for test is 150 minutes (2.30 hours)

The expected date for MDCAT 2020 is August 9, 2020
